Agronomist Farmer

The Farmer's Story

Today's farmers face a variety of challenges, which can vary depending on geographic location, type of agriculture, and socio-economic conditions. The key problems include:

Climate change | Water Scarcity | Soil Degradation | Pest and Disease Resistance | Market Access and Price Volatility | Labor Shortages| Economic Pressures | Technological Challenges | Regulatory Compliance | Mental Health Issues including stress, anxiety, and depression | Dependency on Monocultures | Globalization and Competition

The Technique

The farmers with whom HealthyG1 started working had a long-cherished habit of sowing rice in their fields year after year which is largely dependent on the south-westerly rains.

With the traditional rice-only farming, the farmers are able to harvest rice worth ₹30,000 from a 1-acre land.

Stop

We don't want!

The rampant use of Urea, DAP, and other chemicals!

Urea and Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) are commonly used fertilizers in agriculture, but their usage can have several adverse effects on both the environment and crop production. Over-reliance on such chemical fertilizers can compromise long-term soil health and sustainability.

Integrated nutrient management approach that combines organic and inorganic fertilizers, along with soil health practices can help to a large extent.

Proper management practices, including correct application rates, timing, and soil testing, can also help minimize these adverse effects and improve overall crop health and yield.

HealthyG1 Agro-Tourism LLP started by co-ordinating with these farmers and addressing their challenges with a multifaceted approach, including embracing sustainable practices, leveraging technology, improving access to markets, and supporting farmer education and mental health.

Inspired by the more advanced techniques of multi-layer farming, HealthyG1 began guiding these crop-growers to be able to make a highly-successful amalgamation of ancient farming techniques and the modern ones.

With the help of multi-layer farming technique, the farmer is now capable of generating a revenue of ₹5,00,000 through multiple crops from the same 1-acre of his land. All this through the use of natural fertilisers and pesticides made in-house at HealthyG1.
